I'm Ibtissam, I'm 14 years old, I am in 3rd year of college, I live in Essaouira. I like to spend most of my free time at the mosque and in libraries.

I live with my aunt because my parents died following a road accident. I have two sisters: Atika, aged 17 and Rabab, 8 years old.

I love reading and tajweed (Art of reciting the Qur'an correctly).

I knew FairMail through Bayti which often helped me and gave me a lot of chances and opportunities. At this occasion, I met Peter, director of FairMail.

Frankly, and from the beginning, I enjoy the work with FairMail because they do many things to help children realize their dreams.

During the first session, I had a strange feeling, I said: “I cannot manage to do everything that the FairMail team asks of me and I fear the scorn of the other children, because I did not know them before” But after spending time with Sandra, Janneke, Kaoutar, Peter, Claire and the other children, I changed these thoughts and I replaced them with another idea: “I'm going to learn photography so that I can earn money through my photos and realize my dreams.”

I am very pleased with my FairMail experience which has helped me and the other children meet new people and learn new techniques and tricks.

During my photography course, I learned a new photo vocabulary. And now I even began to try to communicate with the international FairMail team in their language.

In the future I would like to be a nurse, god willing.
